the Year of Rooster

Sara's Chinese home cooking showcase: Shanghai salsa in endive leaves, pan-fried dumplings, baked Japanese sweet potato fries, "naked"  shrimp scallop wonton soup, steamed Chinese eggplant with rice vinegar chili sauce,  five-spice fish cake, Si-Chuan style pickled cabbage, sauteed Chinese mustard green with duck confit and fresh soy beans,  layered cream cake and ice cream
